Alex Stephen started his involvement with Linwood Rangers YC in 1971 as a coach and a key participant managing his time between a full-time job as a respected local policeman and dedicating his spare time to Linwood Rangers Youth Club. He became the Chairman and remained committee and loyal until his untimely death in 2004.

Alex will always be remembered for his dedication and passion for football in the Linwood community. Alex has left a legacy and led the way for Linwood Rangers Youth Club’s future. The committee and all involved with Linwood Rangers will continue to give a commitment, support and dedication in his memory.

There has been a few leagues, cups and a Scottish cup win over the years. Our 2006s have reach Scottish Cup Quarter Final this year
